HATFIELD, PA - Door Services Corporation, a Horton Automatics company providing automatic door installation, maintenance, and repair to commercial, institutional, healthcare, and transit facilities across the US and Canada, has announced news with direct implications for its customers: Motion Access, LLC has joined the Horton family as part of Horton Pedestrian Access Solutions, a division of Overhead Door Corporation.
Motion Access, based in Elk Grove Village, IL, is a provider of aftermarket automatic pedestrian door parts, rebuilds, and retrofit kits for automatic door brands across the industry, including its own Condor and Raven swing operators. Motion Access will continue to operate under its existing name.
For Door Services Corporation customers, the acquisition translates to more parts on hand, expanded retrofit and rebuild options, and stronger aftermarket support behind every service call - with no changes to the team or the response times customers have come to expect.
Overhead Door Corporation President and CEO Kelly Terry noted that the acquisition strengthens the company's aftermarket and service capabilities and expands its product offering across North America.
