Canadian Board Company Adds the Compact POPUP AquaNet for Smaller Waterfronts and Lake Days

Kelowna, Canada - August 16, 2026 / Canadian Board Company /

Canadian Board Company has added the POPUP AquaNet to its inflatable water-platform lineup, giving cottage families and boaters a smaller option for days when a full-size floating dock is more platform than they need.

The AquaNet measures 8 feet by 7 feet by 8 inches and is rated to support up to 700 pounds. Unlike a solid floating dock, the AquaNet uses an open mesh centre surrounded by an inflatable drop-stitch frame, keeping users closer to the water while still providing a defined place to relax, cool off, or tie alongside an existing dock or boat.

A Compact Platform for Water-Level Use

Canadian Board Company positions the AquaNet as a swim platform, floating lounge, dock extender, and behind-the-boat hangout. That makes it a different product from the company's larger solid-deck and mixed-deck platforms rather than simply a smaller version of them.

Current specifications list Air Ride Construction with high-strength drop-stitch fibres, double-layer and double-wall construction, and a recommended pressure range of 5 to 7 PSI. The product page lists the AquaNet at approximately 29 pounds packed, making it easier to carry and store than the company's larger 14-foot platforms.

The package includes carrying straps, a high-capacity hand pump, and a repair kit. Multiple D-rings give owners options for appropriate tie-off or anchoring based on their location and conditions, while four integrated cup holders are built into the platform.

Where It Fits in the Dock Lineup

The AquaNet is designed for buyers who prioritize water-level lounging, cooling off, and portability. Canadian Board Company's current dock collection also includes the compact 8-foot POPUP Dock, the larger 14-foot AquaDock, and the 14-foot YachtDock for boat-focused use.

The AquaDock provides a larger family platform with a 2,000-pound maximum capacity, while the YachtDock is rated to 3,000 pounds and is positioned for boat-side access, gear staging, and additional water-level space beside a vessel. The 8-foot POPUP Dock gives shoppers another compact choice when they prefer a solid platform rather than the AquaNet's open centre.

Choosing by Use, Not Just Size

A smaller footprint can make sense for a cottage with limited storage, a family that frequently transports its gear, or boaters who want a platform that can be packed away between trips. Larger platforms make more sense when the dock regularly carries several adults, pets, chairs, coolers, or water-sports equipment.

Canadian Board Company recommends comparing intended use, total load, storage space, and anchoring conditions before choosing. Buyers can review the POPUP AquaNet specifications and current availability through the Canadian Board Company website.
